At the age of 17, he dropped out of the 10th grade and was struggling with serious health problems because of his Tumor. He also went through the surgery.

His grandmother helped him to visit the hospital and various doctors outside Red Hill City and took care of him until he showed signs of recovery.

The 26-year-old Hood is still living in Rich Hill, Missouri. He has not updated much about his education but has studied Wall Street English.

He is a married man and has a proud father of two baby girls. His wife’s name is Angela LeAnn Hood, and their daughter’s names are Eileen Marie and Rhyder Anna.

Appachey West Loves Performing On Stage

During the filming of the documentary, Appachey was a 13-year-old chubby kid. He loved riding his skateboard.

Appachey lived with his multiple siblings in a filthy and unmanaged house. He also had a foul mouth and cursed most of the time.

His single mother Delena worked hard to run the house, and she could sometime be a harsh person with a bad temper to deal with.

She became a mother at the early age of 17, so she felt defeated in her life as she never got to have any dreams.

His mother would imagine herself having a proper time to grow and choosing life decisions more seriously in her early life.

Delena described that the filming time of the documentary was a stressful time in her life as she exposed so much of herself in the film.

She was a great supporter of the film and has changed and is in a better place in her life with her kids. She is in a relationship with a good man who helped her.

The 13-year-old kid cried when he first saw the film, he was happy to see Harley’s story mixed up with him as they shared a good bond.

Appachey dreamt of becoming an art teacher in China. He had to repeat 6th grade as he was not eligible to go to another grade.

At the age of 14, he was living in the Division of Youth Service facility in Rich Hill and was recommitted for another year as well.

Appachey is 22 years old as of 2023 and is in a relationship since 2017 with Destani Lewis. He also likes to perform onstage.
