Got7 is a South Korean boy band formed by JYP Entertainment. The group is composed of seven members: Jay B, Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, BamBam, and Yugyeom. Got7 debuted in January 2014 with the release of their first EP Got It?, which peaked at number two on the Gaon Album Chart and number one on Billboard’s World Albums Chart.

The group gained attention also for their live performances, which often include elements of martial arts tricking and street dancing.

GOT7 Leader

Jay B is the leader of GOT7. On February 22, 2021, Jaebeom changed his stage name from JB to Jay B. On May 11, 2021, Jay B was officially announced to have signed under H1GHR MUSIC.

GOT7 Fandom Name

GOT7’s official lightstick doesn’t have an official name, but on April 24, 2016, Youngjae uploaded a (now deleted) photo of the light stick on Instagram with the caption “난 아가봉 이라부르겟어” (“I’ll call you Ahgabong “). Ahgabong is a portmanteau of GOT7’s unofficial fandom name Ahgase and bong, the Korean word for the stick.
