Olmos and Kaija received two children after their wedding on December 29, 1971: sons Bodie Olmos and Mico Olmos, both of whom have followed in their father’s footsteps and become actors. Mico has appeared in a number of shows, including American Playhouse (1982), Testament (1983), Human Error (2004), and Filly Brown (2006). Olmos divorced his first wife, Kaija, in 1992, after almost two decades of marriage. The actor subsequently went on to date Lorraine Bracco from The Sopranos. They married on January 28, 1994, in the Versailles Room of New York’s St. Regis Hotel. The wedding had 100 people in attendance, and Olmos was led by his four sons. Bracco said that their children had a significant role in their going down the aisle during their wedding.

“The kids urged us to marry,” she said. “It was them who kept saying, ‘Come on!'” Unfortunately, their marriage did not work out well. After five years of separation, the couple divorced in 2002.
