Tremaine Aldon Neverson, known professionally as Trey Songz was born on November 28, 1984, in Petersburg, Virginia, the United States to parents Claude Neverson Jr and April Tucker.

Trey Songz graduated from Petersburg High School in 2002 and he later signed a recording contract with Atlantic Records in 2003. His single “Say Aah” (featuring Fabolous) from his third album, Ready, became his first top 10 hits.

Trey Songz released his first number one album, Chapter V, which debuted atop the Billboard 200 in 2012. He has also sold over 25 million records worldwide in singles and albums.
